1. Information processed

When a TikTok account authorizes Dailynews Social Publisher, the integration may process information supplied by TikTok under the permissions granted by the account. This may include TikTok account identifiers and basic profile information.

The integration also processes OAuth authorization tokens required to maintain the authorized connection and publication metadata such as publication identifiers, status, timestamps, and errors.

2. Purpose

This information is processed only to identify the authorized TikTok account, maintain authorization, publish Dailynews-created video content, prevent duplicate publication, and record publication status.

3. Storage and security

Authorization credentials used by the publishing system are stored on systems controlled by Dailynews with access restrictions and local credential protection. Access tokens are not intentionally published or included in public content.

4. Sharing

Dailynews does not sell TikTok authorization data or TikTok account data. Information is transmitted to TikTok as necessary to operate the authorized TikTok integration.

5. Retention

Authorization information is retained only while necessary to operate the authorized integration or satisfy legitimate security, audit, and operational requirements. Authorization data may be removed when access is revoked or the integration is discontinued.

6. User control

The TikTok account owner may revoke the application's authorization using the controls provided by TikTok. Requests regarding data handled directly by Dailynews may be sent to the contact address below.
